Vanrakdoom
The air here feels borrowed from a place that hates the living. Darkness clings to every surface like wet velvet, swallowing torchlight until flames burn small and nervous. Somewhere beyond sight, voices murmur in slow, overlapping chants—too many to count, too soft to understand, yet close enough to feel against the skin. Each whisper seems to know a name, a fear, a secret. Shadows move when no one breathes, stretching along walls like fingers searching for warmth. Footsteps fall strangely muted, as though the realm itself is listening and refuses to echo. A faint cold presses into the bones, carrying the scent of old stone, extinguished candles, and rain on graves. Even silence is not empty here; it pulses with hidden attention. The deeper one looks into the gloom, the more the gloom seems to look back, patient, hungry, and horribly awake.
