Background ambiance for a Dread game.
You are a crew member on a small research and scouting vessel, six months into a deployment to an obscure and distant solar system. Routine scans of a blue giant at the edge of the system have revealed a massive ship locked in a slowly decaying orbit around the planet. After gathering initial readings of minimal power but functioning life support, your captain has made the decision to board.
Your task is to investigate the ISS Auerbach, and determine what has caused its abandonment.
