twilight house / ambience
you find yourself sitting in a cozy treehouse-made-library, shrouded by comfortable solitude. as you press down on its keys, the old typewriter in front of you clacks away. at the same time - in true twilight-house fashion - you are reading a book on some fantastical new topic you’ve gained an acute interest in, and are researching just for the sake of it. you occasionally pause to hastily scribble down a note on parchment, or pour yourself a complimentary cup of steaming coffee.
outside, there is a bit of light rain, and it only acts as a calming backdrop for your studies inside your little haven. the subtle crackling of the fireplace to your right is soothing and, even though one may find it hazardous to have such a substance inside a treehouse, of all buildings, you are anything but worried; you found a charm that contained fire and stopped it from spreading ages ago. and, if that was not enough, you didn’t read that book on how to construct a safe fireplace for nothing.
taking reserved sips of coffee and slowly turning pages as you read them, you are in a state of comfort in what you consider to be your true home.
