Stronghold
It's much safer within the walls here. Even though the stronghold is in the middle of the forest, the walls of the stronghold seem invincible. No fleshies are getting in here anytime soon, that's for sure.
Imagine yourself resting in the yard, listening to the sounds of the others over the radio. They've just entered the town, from the sounds of it. Hopefully they get back before nightfall; these forests can be a literal hell in the dead of winter, and they should know to NEVER be outside at night. Everyone does.
