Snowstorm Cabin
You are caught in the middle of a ferocious snowstorm. The freezing winds almost blow you off your feet. In the midst of the snow tainted winds, you see a light, blurry from the snow barrage. You march towards it, and there you find a quaint little cabin, its wooden walls old yet sturdy. It calls for you, and you enter. As you shut the frosted door, the harsh blizzard quiets down, still audible but you find it quite comforting. You see a small yet cozy space in front of you. Hanging up your coat on a rack, you put your backpack down next to a table, emitting a dull sheen from the varnished spruce wood it was made from. You sigh, listening to the sounds around you. The distant footsteps of animals, taking shelter from the cold winds, the occasional sounds of snow hitting the wooden roof of your cabin, the chipping of the icicles hanging on the ledge of your roof, and lastly, the howling of the never ending snowstorm, muffled by the protective walls of your shelter. This is a calm refugee, and you take all the time in the world do enjoy it. Very occasionally, you can hear a muffled blast of a gun, but that is no worry for you, because it is very common to hear it in the year 1899...
