Refuge In The Forest
After a long, confusing day of running and running, you find yourself on an old mattress in a long forgotten house. There's a few holes in the structure, a couple broken windows, but it's still standing.
Everything that's happened earlier seems blurry. A fog in your head.
You take off your mask, and close your eyes as the sound of the static from the still running television soothes you to sleep.
It's one of the only things that helps you fall asleep. You don't exactly know why.
But you know that you're not alone in this. You know you'll wake up to him sound asleep in your arms.
...And you wouldn't have it any other way.
