Niflheim
One of the two original realms, Niflheim is a frozen wasteland. Nothing lives here. Even your heavy fur cloak does little to block out the bitter wind. Surely nothing can survive in such an inhospitable place, you assume as you turn to leave. Only the sounds of breaking ice are carried to you through the harsh air. Breaking ice, and... maybe something else? No, you conclude. Nothing could survive here. Nothing.
