Medieval Japanese Garden
The estate is at war again with the Taira clan. I have had a busy day and I finally get a moment to myself. I decided to spend time in my garden, listening to the cuckoos and the geese play joyfully in the nearby pond. My stream trickles down the rocks emptying out of sight. It is so beautiful and relaxing to let my imagination flow freely as the crisp afternoon sun lights my paper. Ink brushes across my canvas with ease and delight. The smell of hot tea tickles my nose and makes my mouth water slightly. Cherry blossoms are just starting to bloom, and the pink petals are melting into the ground. Their sweet scent blends with my tea and creates a natural serotonin. I let myself fade into my art for hours of pure joy.
