Marshland Campfire
It’s a cool summer night, and all of the mosquitoes have gone to who-knows-where. The cicadas chirp their mesmerizing song, and thunder rolls in the distance. The mosquitoes this time of year have driven away any tourists, so you feel isolated and peaceful.
You set up camp against the rolling marsh, and you can faintly hear the water flowing. As the thunder rolls closer, you wonder how long you can continue to admire the fire you managed to make. It warms you up, turning you into a two toned gradient. You wish you could see yourself, but you already know what you look like anyway.
As it starts to drizzle, you wonder if it will pick up, or simply stop. But, you can’t think right now. The scene you’re in is too charming and dazzling to give up...
