Hweidu's Hideout
Deep in the woods on the edge of the village of Verdence, a small cave lies hidden. A pair of children had made a sort of home away from home here, a place where they could go when their parents or neighbourhood bullies started to wear them down. A place to regroup, to comfort each other.
Years have passed, and the children are now all grown up. The boy, a half-elf named Illema, has left the village to travel the world. The girl, Hweidu, remains in their elven village. She still visits her childhood hideout, longing for the day when her best friend will return and save her from the heavy hands of her parents.
