But you want to think that Fort Stiofán is one of them. Bards sing songs and tell tales of King Sean's victories and the peace that followed while Watchers pass to and fro tending crops, washing the linens, and prepping meals. But behind the melody of peace, you know there's a war going on. Patrols preparing to defend the capital... steady streams of messengers flooding in and out of the garrison... huddled groups of scholars, mages, and scouts combing over records that have been studied hundreds of times before... and tensions riding high whenever anyone insinuates potential traitors are within our midst. And yet, we persist. We must Keep The Watch and a Positive Mental Attitude, else all will be lost.
