Deep in the Doldrums
It's so soothing, this gentle sea. The waves sway us like a mother gently rocking a cradle. Wasn't there somewhere we were going? Never mind, it's peaceful. But the water's running low, and the rum. This is the last barrel of biscuits. Maybe tomorrow there'll be a strong enough wind to move us.
