Cul-de-sac, Summer Afternoon
You're lying on your front lawn at 3pm on a summer day. It's nearly the end of August. Nestled deep within the lazy suburbs, you live in a quiet part of town, but the drone of cars passing is still detectable. The steady winds are carrying the sounds of the wind chimes, hanging in your garden, out into the street. Dried-up leaves are being tossed all about, and you can hear the birds playing in your neighbor's backyard.
Not exactly a fanciful atmosphere, but it sounds like home to me. :)
