Birds sing at dawn
First 'the last post' will sound. During two minutes of silence remembering the fallen, attention is drawn to the sound of birds and the wind (if there is any). The national anthem is the sign that the two minutes passed. I needed the environment of birds singing at dusk to combine with the components mentioned.
