Ancient Ritual
The invocation of the priestess leads the assembly from the ritual grounds and to the cave-mouth. The sea wind whips the smoke of the braziers and the fragrant incense higher, the bells and horns ringing in rhythm with the steps of the dancers. The world begins to blur with heat and sound as the sweet opium carries to the revelers the wishes of the gods.
