"All Summer in a Day" by Ray B
"All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury is about a girl named Margot she lives on the planet, Venus. On the planet Venus it's been raining non-stop for seven years. Margot is the only student in her class that saw the sun because she moved away from Earth at the age of 5 and the other students don't remember the sun like Margot because they were 2 years old when the sun came out. Since Margot is the only student who remembers the sun she gets bullied. When the sun was about to come out again after 7 years of rain the students locked Margot in the closet at school. To create the atmosphere of the text I added sounds of rain, thunder, children, and other things that would be found in a classroom.
